hi guys,

so, i have a finis wave monofin but it broke after only the 2nd use. And not just a tiny crack or whatever, but more like the foot pockets where almost separated from the actual fin. Called the supplier and they said that this was not something that happens often so it must have been my fault. I'm pretty pissed about this obviously... tried to tape and glue it back together but after trying it out the 3rd time it cracked even more and it doesn't even give much propulsion anymore :( goodbye wave (and 50 euros).

Are there more people with this problem ? :confused:

You should contact finis directly. They have replaced monofins in the past and are good about standing by their product! :)

The finis wave have had many problems with durability problems and issues that many have had to deal with when using the finis wave I personally order the finis foil because of its good reviews and also because a size small is perfect for my fluke design. Many have had your problem especially the customer being blamed, I suggest going strait to the finis cite and emailing your distributor. I hope you get things sorted out :)

I read of the Rapids having cracking problems after 1 or 2 uses too.
