Hello, I'm new here!
I've been lurking around here for quite some time, and I finally decided to register. ;)
I am 32 years old, and my obsession with mermaids is unbroken since childhoold. I've always had a very deep connection to the sea.
When I am not swimming around in my monofin pretending to be a mermaid, I am a physicist and work in the field of medical technologies.
My other hobbies are painting, making music, game design, singing, sculpting (mainly with polymer clay), growing my own food and baking. I love learning and trying new stuff!
I wanted to make my own tail since many years. I'm really excited about making a full silicone tail for my competitor monofin, and I already have experience in sculpting an silicone molding.
At the moment I am working on possible designs, testing sculpting techniques and trying out different clay scale patterns. But there is something that is holding me back to make the final steps: Since the birth of my daughter, my weight is fluctuating a lot. I have stable eating habits and work out regularly, but the kilos go on and off, on and off...
It's driving me crazy.
Maybe my hormones are not yet stabilized enough. But it is definitely my goal for this year to make a tail, if not for me then for somebody else. ;)
