So I was trying to plan a anniversary vacation with my husband (who is not a beach person) and was floored when he wanted to go to the Bahamas! I dont have my tail yet, but I plan on ordering a fabric one in the next few months. Has anyone done any mermaiding in the bahamas? Where would you say is the best place to go and swim?! I want to stay in a hotel with access to Atlantis resort (soo many fish, and the water park OMG.) but we'd be there for 4 days so I'm kind of curious as to what you fellow mermaids would do while there. I dont think we can fill 4 days just at the resort.

So has anyone been? Did you swim? TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT!

Sorry if this post turns out funky. My computer is being weird and I can only see about half the screen.
Anyways I have not been to Atlantis (and surrounding areas) but my family is planning a trip to there in the spring!

But I have swam in Costa Rica. So much fun, soo magical. Just be warned. Your fabric tail will be filled with sand, that is impossible to remove. Half a year later, with washing the tail there is still sand.

I haven't been personally but I do know a group of YouTubers all went to that resort about a year ago. Joey Graceffa, Luke Conard, TheGridMonster, Strawburry17, haha, kind of random but I remember loving to watch their vlogs while they were there. The resort is gorgeous from what I could tell. Might be worth listening to some of them?

Oh, no. No mermaids there unfortunately. You'd have to put in like Atlantis Bahamas Vacation Vlog to find them.

I've been to Atlantis, and it's pretty cool! The water park isn't as huge as you'd think, but it is really beautiful. There's also a lot of shopping in Nassau, so that could be fun. You could probably rent bikes or motor scooters there, too.
And honestly, I'm a beach person, so I don't know what else is there for swimming aside from beaches!
I'd suggest watching the Mary Kate and Ashley movie for good ideas! Haha

Expinsive very. >.< were gonna stay at the comfort inn and not eat at restaurants except for dinner. Not gonna do anything at the resort that costs money. Shopping is nice in Nassau? That's cool. While im here for those that have been to Nassau is there any hidden 'local gems' places that are not super toristy for food and drinks?
