I'm from Roseville and my parents were always watching Good Day Sacramento, it was our main news station to watch because of the awesome people. :) Part of me still wishes I lived there because I got offered a job as a mermaid at the Dive Bar, but I wasn't 21. :(
Still it's an all around awesome place!

You guys make me want to go there and apply for a merman spot in the team.

That dive bar looks awesome! I like the friendly atmosphere and the tank. :)

I think that tank is perfect for me like because before I can get gigs at with huge aquariums I need!!! need!!!! need!!! training in a smaller tank before I start looking for gigs

She's so excited! Don't often see that in a reporter, they're always so straight faced.

I just did a search for dive bar Australia, i got all kinds of bars but no dive ones.

I've never heard of dive bars outside the US :/
there are a few mermaid shows abroad, but nowhere Europe, and they're few and far between.

if I tried to approach the only aquarium here for miles and miles, suggesting to swim in it with a tail costume, people would think I'm a lunatic for certain :p

@caltuna - We don't even have mermaid shows! The closest thing with fish and all that, is Sydney Aquarium and that's a 2 hr train ride away.

I was thinking to get good at the dolphin kick, buy a mermaid tail set and apply at the Aquarium. The other part of me thinks they're just going to send the loony wagon over to my house...
