painting the Competitor

Has anyone ever attempted this?
If yes, was it successful?

Talking about the blade, not the rubber footpocket.
I can live with those, but the blade is black and I hate the way that looks.

The only person I think I've seen paint a fiberglass fin is Kitty Madison. She says she used createx, looks like with an airbrush.

Will have to look into createx then. Hopefully it's not poisonous or such.
