John and Maria, a Mermaid Story.

It's been a while since I last posted here, but I'd written a few mermaid stories which recieved a few thumbs-up, and now that I've recently written another short tale, I thought I'd share it someplace where merfolk matter most. ;)

Written for loyalty-of-the-dark of DeviantArt, it features her characters Maria, a human girl, and John, a merman. When the stresses of school life grow too taxing for Maria, and her friends all but abandon her, an encounter with a creature from the deep gets her interested in something her textbooks certainly have no entry on...
