Scale stick-on bra

I'm working on a scale bra made of liquid latex. I don't think it's swimmable, but so far it looks nice. One half is nearly finished (need to add pearls and crystals) Other half is drying. It's attached to a stick-on bra.

I used a mold which is actually a mold for cakes, mixed the paint and liquid latex and let that dry. Then painted on top of that (because liquid latex tents to keep being sticky). I glued it down with hot glue on the bra. I'm not sure if the top will stay in place while swimming and I'm not sure if the hot glue is waterproof. The paint I used should be waterproof, but I'm not sure if it will hold up well with swimming. All in all quite some uncertainties for being waterproof.
I should try it out, but what if the top falls off? :sweat drop:

Hot glue is generally waterproof...just don't let it heat up enough to melt!

It looks great! Maybe try it at home in a lukewarm bath, just to see if it holds?

Is the stick on bra base fabric covered? Hot glue would hold onto that underwater, I'm unsure if it would hold onto latex or silicone.

I'd suggest using pros aide as an extra adhesive. Pros aide is waterproof and would make sure those don't fall off as soon as you hit the water!

You could always try using double sided sticky tape. Tape all around the edges and then suction cup it to your tata's and the tape should hold for a swimmable version. Just a suggestion, test it at home in a shower or bath, just so you don't have an "Oops" at the pool or ocean.

Good idea to try it in the shower. I don't own a bathtub unfortunately. Anyways, as soon as it's finished I'll show the result. ^_^

It needs a lot of testing before I'm able to make these for others. Also for now only a B cup or smaller is possible. (my mold is quite small)

Ask at a bridal shop about double sided adhesive - they usually carry it for brides who wear strapless dresses...don't want an Ooops! moment at your wedding!

you could use some clear bra straps, and rub something on them to prevent shimmer in photos.. like waterproof concealer or something?

The latex is attached to a stick-on bra. =) Just bought a nude colored one from Ebay (they're quite cheap). Shops like Hunkemoller sells them too, but for an insane price (30 euro's!!)

Don't worry, I won't. This side is finished. Now the other half and the top is done! (Then it's time to test it out in the water)

It's a B cup, costs would be 40 euro's (this is for material expenses). I hope I can finish it today, then test it out for swimming this sunday. Once finished and tested I will put it in my Etsy shop =)
