So the paint didn't turnout quite as I'd hoped but I still think its not so bad 😊
I also made half socks for my monofin using leftover fabric!

Just been swimming in it, it was a little big and I think I need to take it in an inch or an inch and a half. I think I read somewhere that you need to make it smaller than your original measurements and I did but I still need to take more off. But some kid asked me if I was real, and a little girl was telling her dad about me being in the pool, that made my day. At least until the lifeguard came over 50 minutes after me being in the pool telling me I can't swim in my costume unless I write a letter to the manager and get approval. :-\

Welcome to my world, so many meetings and writing letters, I gave up and remained at the one pool that's mer friendly and doesn't care as long as you are nice to the guests and keep to yourselves. Then again, the pool water is less gritty than the public pools' water and I can use the hot tub and other things there for free after paying the fee.

Though, you don't run into many children there sadly. :( It will most likely end up as the Scotland's mer meet up place.

Yeah, can't wait to get my driving licence, then I'll be able to go to hotel pools and travel easier. I really don't get what the problem is they say its because my feet are bound in my tail but my feet are still bound in my monofin, which the said I could use

Wow almost a year since I made my tail, still haven't gotten a reply from the manager and haven't been able to use my tail since...
I'm currently adding fins to it all by hand because I don't have a sewing machine anymore and toying with the idea of sequins and armour. I will find a pool I can swim in with my tail, even If I have to sneak it in bwahahhaha....
