So today I was sitting on the beach relaxing and reading a book (nothing mer-related) when a guy walked up to me and gave me his business card for his fabric tail business. Thought it was so funny that he gave it to probably the only mermaid on the beach. Lol

Haha maybe he just knew! Or.... are you sure you weren't in a tail at the time, lol? And who knows... maybe there are more of us than you might think! ;)

Who is this Random Man?! Got any details of his business? Poor dude has a thread about him now and we can't even flood him with potential customers!

Nope I was just sitting in a chair in my bathing suit reading and this guy walks up and gives me his card. Ya I said I already have one and he started talking about how they can run upwards of $3000 (I know tell me about it lol) and his are a good deal so I told him I have a silicone one. The website on the card is www.growatail.com incase anyone was curious.

I've seen them. They're cheap because they are fabric tails.

They're a lot like FinFun Tails... I may have to get one to see if they're better/worse/just as good. From what I see they're probably just as good! They're cute, need more prints though.

Wow, what were the odds that he'd give a card to not only a mermaid, but one with a high end silicone tail like he references in his sails pitch?

Maybe he saw you swimming one day, and thought you had kids or know someone with kids.

It would be interesting to see a review for this maker. I feel like they came up months ago but I don't remember anyone buying from them yet. From what I can tell, their monofins appear to be swim fins with some kind of additional plastic to create a mermaid shape. The way they move in the water is interesting, and the skins look nice, though a few more color options would be nice. I think if you like your fluke a little more floppy in the water and want a different kind of fin, this might work out nicely :)

I don't think he saw me this is the first time I've been to this part of Florida and Raven has my tail right now, in fact I'm leaving to pick it up in a few hours. I think the guy who gave me the card designs the mono fins in those tails not sure though.

The people that make these are very close to me, they have a surf shop and they sell them there. I saw them in person. All I can say is, the monofin turned me off right away. I can't remember exactly how they made them, just that they didn't look very well done. It was last year tho so maybe they improved them since then.
