Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum and new to the magical realm of underwater performances, up till now I have only been modelling tails on photoshoots but never actually swimming in them.
Would love to purchase a used or starter basic blue/green tail from someone with a monofin, please let me know if you know anyone making them, I am looking to only spend 500$ or less.

Hey there! If you're looking for a used tail, you should definitely post your measurements here and check the classifieds.
If you haven't swum in any kind of tail before, then I do recommend you read this thread: http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?7106-Why-we-don-t-advise-full-silicone-tails-for-your-frist-tail
Welcome! :)

Hi MerEmma! Thanks for the information :) I have been checking the classifieds actually but most of them seem to be outdated, and/or sold, I used to do competitive swimming and I feel like the knowledge I have from that will translate well into swimming with a tail?

There are a few members that I know that make tails an some that make basic tails. As long you have your own monofin. Maybe they can make you one for a price. But as for a basic latex or silicone tail for around $500. Sorry but the stuff to make just a basic latex or even silicone is more than $500.

Thanks for the info :) I saw many old classifieds postings about 300-500$ silicone or latex tails for sale on this forum so I'm basing my pricing on that, like I said I would probably prefer used for timing and for my budget
