Hey there everyone! I'm making a second season of my animated web-show, Sirenetta, and I thought I'd bring the casting call here in case any of you were interested. If you haven't seen Sirenetta yet, here's the first episode:

This season of Sirenetta, Nettie Pearlman has to help four lost mermaids find a new lagoon to call home and live happily ever after. Unfortunately there's an enchanted crew of pirates out to stop these mermaids at all costs. It's going to be a real action/adventure arc, with a lot of exciting new characters, which means a lot of exciting new roles that need to be filled.

Basically all you have to do is record yourself reciting a monologue no longer than one minute, and send the audio recording to Wantyourvoice@Yahoo.com. Auditions will be held from March 10th to March 26th, 2014. For full audition details though, please go to http://www.mattimation.com/#!want-your-voice/cwee

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I hope to hear from some of you soon!

Do you have to be local? I live in Australia :)

Nope! As long as you can e-mail me your audition, and then your lines if you get a part, and the recording quality is good, you can be anywhere! The voice of Iris in season one is actually from Australia, too!

Does it matter what sort of monologues we choose? I'm definitely going to give this a shot if I can find my microphone!

Nope! Just as long as it's no longer than one minute, and I'd prefer it be appropriate.

I'm in! It might take me a couple days to figure out how to do it though. What format do you need the audio in?

I'm interested.... But same question as Dottie, what format do you prefer the recording in?

MP3 is what we usually prefer for audio recordings, as all the programs we use in production recognize MP3s.

Ugh, so much for my audition... Found a microphone, found a decent monologue, and then this morning... throat infection. :( I can't stop coughing and I can barely talk without my throat feeling like I just swallowed a cheese grater.

Oh no, There! That's awful, I'm so sorry!

Oh no! Well we're holding auditions until the 26th, so that's still more than a week. Hopefully you get well soon and can still audition!

Oh my god, yes, of course! That's an embarrassing typo, thank you for pointing it out!
