Hi everyone! Hope you all had a safe & rockin' awesome St. Patrick's Day.
Did anyone catch a glimpse of a mermaid at the Southie Parade? :p
I ended up using my mermaid tail skirt, threw on something close to piratey for the top half, my steampunk mermaid corset, my fabric shell bra and called it good. FREEZING cold that day but yeah I worked it and toughed it out as best as I could. Thankfully I remembered I had a fleece blanket in my car for when I got cold. The first part of the 3.5 mile walk of the parade, I put my blanket in one of the 2 trucks that was also in the parade and did my best to deal with the cold but yeah near the end of it I had to get my blanket.

I'm so proud of my pirate family! And holy bejeepers was it frickin' COLD! Seriously, I was called Van Der Kamp by the end of it! :lol:
