Hey all, I've just recently started a gig as the official mermaid for the Black Raven pirate ship down in Jacksonville. My role in the show is going to evolve slowly in order for the event to continue on as smoothly as it runs. I'm starting small (I greet passengers before they board, let them take pictures, entertain them while they wait, and hand out little thank you cards that have my FB page and the Black Raven's FB page. The card will also have a short background story on my mersona and a paragraph about "wishing shells". They will receive a wishing shell to throw into the ocean when they get a chance). I just wanted to make a thread to keep track of the evolution of the show and to see how much popularity my mersona can gather from this exposure. Kind of like an experiment! I'll start adding information and photos as it comes in. My first event is this Tuesday. :D

**I also wanted to add what a coincidence it is that I just got a Raven tail and now I'm doing gigs on a pirate ship with "Raven" in the name. XD**

I didn't realize how many mers live so close by to me! I'm from Fernandina if you've ever heard of it, it's only about 30 minutes away:)

I have! Fernandina is in my area of operations for the coast guard! We frequent the fernandina harbor marina. Are you going to the mer meet at alexander springs? It would be awesome to meet!

Unfortunately I don't think I can make it :/ plus I won't have my finfolk tail til June I think. Maybe next time though!

hey mers! I live on St. Simons Island GA. I'm still a bit far from you both, but I'm frequently down that way since there's way way way more to do down there.
