Hey everyone,

I'm trying to understand the exact dimensions of a standard tennis court, including both singles and doubles play. I know there are specific measurements for the baseline, service boxes, and overall court size, but I’d like a clear breakdown of all the key dimensions.

Also, do these measurements differ for different surfaces or levels of play (recreational vs. professional)? If anyone has a diagram or a link to an official source, that would be great too.

Thanks in advance for your help!

A standard tennis court measures 78 feet (23.77 meters) in length. The dimensions of tennis court (https://theracketsports.com/tennis-court-dimensions/) vary slightly depending on singles or doubles play, with a width of 27 feet (8.23 meters) for singles and 36 feet (10.97 meters) for doubles. The service boxes are each 21 feet (6.4 meters) deep and 13.5 feet (4.11 meters) wide. The net stands at 3 feet (0.91 meters) high in the center and 3 feet 6 inches (1.07 meters) at the posts. These measurements remain consistent across all surfaces and levels of play.
