Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a reliable automatic pet feeder for my cat/dog that can handle consistent scheduling and portion control. I’d prefer something with a good power backup (battery or UPS) in case of outages and an easy-to-use app for remote feeding adjustments.

Bonus points if it prevents food jams and works well with kibble of different sizes. Any recommendations based on personal experience? Also, are there any features I should avoid? I want to make sure my pet gets fed on time, even when I'm not home.

Thanks in advance!

I've tested a few options, and based on your needs, I’d recommend the WOPET automatic pet feeder (https://wopet.com/). It offers reliable scheduling, portion control, and dual power options with both a plug and battery backup, ensuring your pet gets fed even during power outages. The feeder is designed to prevent food jams and works well with different kibble sizes. It also has an easy-to-use app for remote feeding adjustments, making it convenient when you're not home. I’d avoid cheaper feeders with weak motors, as they tend to jam, and those with poorly designed apps that can be unreliable.
