I've been having to constantly put off making my mermaid tail over and over and over and its starting to depress and discourage me
No matter how hard i try i just can't seem to save the money to make my tail. I'm a college student on Financial Aid and that money just goes so quickly between, books, classes, supplies, cell phone bills and rent. My boyfriend is a great guy but he's not working right now so he can't help and I'm just starting to feel really hopeless about ever getting money to make my own tail or even buy one and i feel like less of a mermaid without a proper tail... and we all know what happened to my fishbutt tail.

So I've been thinking. Should I start a kickstarter or gofundme account and try to get some money that way. Does that even really work? what do i have to what are the chances of actually making enough money to make my dream tail.
any advice and help would be greatly appreciated

There are quite a few threads on here on this topic already...use the search term for kickstart/gofundme/etc. to find some of them. General consensus is that most of them don't tend to work unless you have a VERY unique project.
