I was wondering how effective having a listing in the Mermaid Directory has been for your business? I'm trying to decide where to spend my money for advertising.

Not at all I did it 2 years and according to my anaylitics didn't even break 10 referrals from it each year.

It could be different for you I don't wanna put someone's hard work down but it certainly didn't for me

Ya I'm just trying to get some opinions on it because it seems to me someone would really have to know they wanted a mermaid and in my area I think I more need to show people they exist and they need one : )
