Hi everyone,

I recently had a workplace accident that left me with a serious injury, and I'm now looking into getting legal help. I've never needed a solicitor before, so I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. How do I find a reliable work injury solicitor who will really fight for me and not just push for a quick settlement?

What should I look for when choosing one? Also, if anyone has personal experiences (good or bad) they'd be willing to share, I'd really appreciate it. I want to make sure I get the best advice and representation possible.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, Sorry to hear about your injury. When looking for a work injury solicitor, focus on finding someone who specializes in workplace accidents and personal injury cases. Firms like MRH Solicitors (https://www.mrhsolicitors.co.uk/accident-at-work-claims-and-work-injury-compensation/) have a strong reputation for handling these types of claims. Check reviews, ask if they’re accredited with bodies like APIL, and make sure they offer a free initial consultation. A good solicitor should take time to explain your options and not pressure you into a quick settlement. Also, ask if they work on a "no win, no fee" basis and clarify any hidden costs. I had a good experience with a smaller firm that prioritized my case personally rather than treating me like a number.
