Hi everyone,

I’m interested in starting reiki training and would love some guidance. There are so many courses available online and in-person, but I’m unsure how to choose the right one. How do you know if a reiki training program is reputable and thorough?

Are there particular certifications or levels I should look for? Also, what should I expect during the training process? Any tips on preparing for reiki training or advice from your personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

When choosing a program, look for experienced teachers with good reviews or recommendations. Make sure the course covers the three main levels—Level 1 (self-healing basics), Level 2 (distance healing), and Master level (teaching). Reiki training (https://www.ageofawakening.co.uk/courses/reiki-1-training/) should offer clear and recognized certification. In-person training is ideal for hands-on practice, but many quality online courses exist too. Expect to learn about energy flow, hand positions, and receive attunements. To prepare, keep an open mind, practice grounding or meditation, and be ready to experience both physical and subtle energy work. Trust your intuition when selecting a course.
