Friends, tell me - where do you find really worthwhile abstract paintings in modern style nowadays? I need something not banal, with mood, preferably from a living artist, not mass printing. I want to add an expressive accent to the interior, but without overloading - looking for work with depth and harmony. Maybe someone has favorite galleries, studios or just familiar authors? I would be grateful for any recommendations.

I advise you to definitely check out the collection of works at Kline Collective. They have exactly the format of contemporary modern abstract paintings https://klinecollective.com/collections/modern-contemporary-art you are talking about - expressive but not garish; with mood, depth and visual harmony. Most of the work is hand painted by the author, not a print run, so each painting has its own energy.
