Hey everyone,
My yard has developed what I can only describe as a bad haircut: random bald spots, uneven color, and thin patches. I’m torn between doing a full reseed or trying more targeted fixes. I’ve heard aeration, topdressing, and overseeding can work wonders, but I’m not sure what order or season is best.
The soil might be compacted, and my sprinklers may be missing certain areas. I’d rather not rip everything out, just restore what’s there. Has anyone tackled this without breaking the bank? What worked for you long term?
Bonus points if it survives kids, dogs, and the occasional BBQ stampede!
