Hi everyone! I’m torn between choosing a short train or a long one for my dress. I love the drama of a longer train, but I'm worried it might be uncomfortable or high-maintenance. Any advice on what’s actually practical to wear and manage?

Hey! I faced the same debate and went back and forth for weeks. Ultimately, what helped was trying on different lengths. I booked fitting (https://havedressstore.com/collections/short-wedding-dress) through Have Dress Store and realized how versatile short wedding dresses can be — especially ones with subtle trains that don’t drag or get stepped on. They offer options with just enough length to feel bridal but not enough to be a hassle. For outdoor or casual venues, the freedom of movement is a big win. Unless you have a full glam team on-site, a long train can feel more like a photo prop than a practical choice. Comfort ended up being my priority, and I never regretted going shorter.
