Forgive me if I don't belong here.

As soon as I saw the movie H20 I knew I wanted to cosplay as a mermaid once in my life. I have no plans to swim in open water or a pool in a tail, but I really want to cosplay as a mermaid and have fallen in love with the fins of the silicone tails and the the body of the sequined tails. Can I combine the two? I'd like to do photoshoots on the beach, so it should be mildly waterproof. Would layered foam circles glued to neoprene then covered in ALEX work to give me a scale-like look if I didn't go with sequence? Could I go with a spandex insteas of neoprene if I'm not planning on swimming in my tail? How about the ridged you see in tails like merbella's? How are those achieved?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really excited to get started!

Well the merbella tails are full silicone and the flukes are made from a mold, the sequin tails are on spandex usually (or neoprene i think) I think that alex over foam would work, i dont know.
