can't get to next page...

I don't know why this is happening, but some threads I can't get off of page 1. I click on the next page, and the page refreshes, and I'm still on page 1. Any advice?

That's an odd problem. Can you do some troubleshooting to try to identify the problem? Does it happen if you use a different internet browser? Which browser are you using now? Also, does it happen when you visit the site with another computer or with your phone? Which operating system are you using? Windows or Mac or Linux?

Also, does the problem happen no matter how you try to navigate to the second page? Like, you can click on the number of the page you want to go to, or you can click on the little arrow to go to the next page. Or you can click on the button to go to the last page. Also, you can navigate to the next page by typing in the address of that page. For example,
http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?7721-Mermaid-Trade-Market/ will take you to the first page of that thread, while http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?7721-Mermaid-Trade-Market/page2 will take you to the second page of that thread.

Can you try some of those things and see which times you experience the problem and which times you don't? That can help figure out when and why it happens.

I'm on windows 8 on internet explorer, but it also does the same thing on my Samsung phone. I think it used to be the 'tail care and maintance' thread that didn't work? Now it's this thread http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?7656-First-tail!!-Help-me-pls. I've tried getting to it from the 'new posts' page, within the thread itself, but neither gets me to the next page. EDIT: I just typed '/page2' in the address bar after the name of the first page, and I got to the second.
