People use createx paint and pearl ex pigments mostly here. You want to mix the pigment/paint into the latex so it doesn't just wash off in the water.

Check out the tailmaking threads for information. Exdraghunt just finished a latex tail (he used pearl ex pigment I believe.)

hi, when will paint flakes latex with a brush, the mixture is very liquid and brush marks remain. and the piece just gets color, what should I do? given several coats of paint? I RECOMMEND some kind of brush? or should I paint with airbrush?

Can you post photos of the part you painted? I would like to see what you're describing as well as the brush you're using. I saw your scales in your album. They look lovely! I couldn't tell where you painted, though.
