Finfolk Productions just shared this article (http://www.grindtv.com/outdoor/nature/post/rare-video-of-oarfish-captured-on-baja-beach/?fb_action_ids=741601719193351&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_ref=.U0SLVu9S91Q.like) on their facebook page and the included video is simply incredible. I love oarfish; they're basically dragons~

We're all going to die.....
(Oh, and in case my comment seemed weird and outlandish, there's what I think is a Japanese myth tying oarfish sightings in shallow waters/washing ashore dead to massive earthquakes)

Hahah, actually, I get the feeling that with all the earthquakes happening on the West Coast that is why they're showing up, maybe the seismic activity disrupting their living or navigation)

I wouldn't be surprised if that was connected! Animals are so much more sensitive to changes in the way the earth works. I would trust animal instincts over science in a lot of situations lol

Yeah, animals are crazy sensitive about that stuff. And all I get is an upset stomach and a headache AFTER the fact.

When we had the 5.1 here in LA, a few minutes before it actually happened, my dog started giving me a seizure alert (she was also really clingy for about 12 hours or so beforehand). Lol. Poor thing, she lost her shit when it happened, which was sad, but also a bit funny, because she acted like she was going to attack the earthquake/floor/house/anything non-living that was moving.

Google says there was a 3.2 magnitude earthquake in Baja 23 hours ago, so I'm sure it's more than coincidence. Looks like the epicenter was pretty far from where the video was taken though.
