Can anyone recommend someone who will rent a mermaid tail to UK?

Hi,
This is my first post here, so apologies if I have posted in the wrong section. I am an amateur photographer but serious about my hobby. I work with professional models and other creative professionals to help me achieve images suitable for publication. I have a photoshoot planned with an amazing model and would like to do a mermaid themed shoot, but cannot afford several thousand dollars to purchase one for a photoshoot in which it will be worn once and not needed again.

Can anyone recommend a company that will rent hig quality mermaid tails that look as 'realistic' as possible. The photoshoot will take place on land and not in water. I would require the mermaid tail for approx 1 week in August of this year.

If anyone can help, I'd be extremely grateful.

I think we don't have any companies here in eu that would rent realistic tails. We do have magictails.de that sells good looking fabric tails and they cost under 200€, but most of the rental companies are located in us. Maybe you could find a mer in your area and ask her/his tail for rent. Though in europe we have only few mers atm that have realistic silicone tail, if that's the look you're going for.

You gotta realize that the chances are slim that he find a tail in Europe. Because they will all be pretty much custom, some made in the US and sent oversea, what are the odds that it could even fit for the models?

You could ask the mermaid group called "Merlesque". They are based in UK and are professional mermaids with some beautiful tails. They have a Facebook page.

Oh. I apologize. I wasn't criticizing you for what you said. I'm not completely awake so it might have come out wrong.

I do remember that you own a tail and you are beautiful in it. I know you are trying to be helpful, I just think it's gonna be difficult to find a Mer willing to lend a tail to someone he/she doesn't know so that he can do a photoshoot in a place where the owner can't watch his/her tail being properly used with care.

but yes, you're absolutely right. Even if they find a tail not every mer wants to rent/lend it.
