The other day I was on Ebay an I saw a picture. Well when I went to the item it said from China. I recognized the model in the picture. It was from another listing. The person from China took the water mark off the picture an use the picture without consent from the original owner. I mailed the person an told them an they replyed an said that Ebay will do nothing about it because the water mark was gone. I there anything that the original owner can do to have this person fix it. Because I looked at what the person from China is selling an there is a ton of pictures of the same model through out thier listings but in different items. To me this is fraudulent practices. People have no shame in stealing stuff from others :(

if you can find the original pictures with the watermarks as proof that someone has stolen them, would that work? Otherwise the original owner has to take them on as they have all the proof they need that the pictures were stolen.

I did let the owner know that somebody was using thier pictures. As of now there is a item for sale by the owner an the person from China is using the same picture without the water mark. Which I know you can take the water mark off by Photo shop.

Sadly this is an extremely common practice for ebay sellers, especially overseas ones. It's been happening since ebay was founded, really :/ The best thing you can do is let the original seller/owner of the photo know that their photo is being used so they can report it to eBay.

Just another reason why you have to be careful buying off of ebay. This happens on etsy and other online market places too. People try and watermark their photos, but if you're determined enough you can photoshop those out. This is why I haven't bought a pair of mermaid leggings yet.. every single seller that is selling them for less than $60-$80 has a photo that was stolen from another reputable seller. The most common is the Black Milk photo (the ones who made the original leggings). Funny thing is that people will take someone else's photo and go as far as to remove the watermark AND photohop another pair of feet and hips onto the legs to make it look like they took an original photo of their product when they in fact did not. This is also a common practice that knock-off sellers will do to make it look like they have a quality product. You might get something that looks similar, but that's about it.

Like the corset sellers will steal photos from trusted brand corset makers and photoshop them to look like they took the photo- the brand seller sells a high quality corset with multiple layers of quality fabric, steel boning, sturdy busks, ect; meanwhile I've seen people receive corsets from ebay sellers that used the same photo and while it looked similar to the photo they stole, the thing was made from vinyl tablecloth and zipties for boning.

An with what you said Winged is one reason I mainly buy off U.S. sellers. Because I know that most stuff from China an Taiwan are very cheaply made in mass production. There is no quality just quantity.
