bewhare new FB pages wont allow you to block merverts!!

So this happened on my Raina page

and guess what? my page was changed over to the new stupid pages. And with that change, I can no longer REPORT THIS STUPID COMMENT OR BAN THIS USER FROM MY PAGE. Seriously?! I tried going through all FB help and it's not updated. I sent in a report as if they'd actually pay attention. -_-

grr so I blocked him from my personal account thinking that would work. Nope! still publicly shows the comment to everyone but me. ugh. this is lame I can't believe facebook would take away that ability. I tried on mobile too. no luck

So once your page is converted to the new format, the usual way of banning people does not work. I was able to make my Raina Mer FB account an admin on my page, and undo the conversion to the new format from that end, and then report and ban the person. That option was not availible to me on my regular account where it FORCED me to use the new page format. ugh

Here's how you usually ban and remove content: https://www.facebook.com/help/185897171460026 that did not appear for me.
