Chlorine got you down? It sure gets me down. It burns your eyes, kills your hair, and just eats away at everything! Sooth those eyes with special eye gel that you can use in and out of the water. Pop some awesome clear and malleable ear plugs in your ears for pool swimming. Follow it up with special ear drops. Enjoy soothing organic virgin coconut oil all over your skin and hair. Wash with an all natural sensitive soap. Sit in that tub while you read a copy of my book. Don't forget I supply you with detailed instructions and I've put up a great youtube video on this.

(Silicone) Tail Kits
Got a little tear in your tail? Worried about mold? Not sure what to do about a fraying waist line? Struggling to pull that thing on? Worried about chlorine damage?? Don't worry. I've got you and your tail covered. I'll ship you the very specific type of silicone you need to fix those minor issues in your tail. (Major issues should always be addressed by your tail maker) I'll send you the best lube for your tail without you having to embarrassingly go into a special store for it along with the spray bottle. I'll mix you my smooth on approved anti-mold blend and the tools to get mold off your tail and keep it away. While we're at it, I'll throw in some baking soda so you can give your tail a nice soak to neutralize the chlorine. I'll give you a list of my tips and tricks for doing all of these things along with drying your tail and making it last for a long time. I'll share with you how I do on the spot repairs. Plus you can curl up with my book when you're done!

most of it (book, chlorine protection, make-up) will be the same.

instead of the lube stuff, maybe a small bottle with a vinegar-water or baking soda solution to rinse the tail in.
while it's easy to make, I know from experience it's nice to have something already made that'll work and if I had to go and do it myself, I'd skip it altogether :p

could also put in swimming spray (not sold in Europe).

some basic tips on swimming safety and chlorine protection wouldn't go amiss either if the kit is sold to people who are not on MN and didn't have the time to read up on all the stuff.

If everything goes well I should be able to have enough when I get my tax return (once Canada Post stops being a bag of butts and actually delivers it, ugh!) and pay off other things first! I'll definitely be getting the chlorine kit first! I'm really tempted with the makeup one, but I've never put makeup on myself before so it'd just end up being a total trainwreck, haha! So that one will likely wait until maybe later on when I've actually had some practice. :P

For Fabric Tails what is Really Needed is:
Swimsuit-saver spray (to apply Before Pool use.)
And a De-Chlorinating swimsuit soak/cleaner for immediately afterwards (or a cheap de-chlorinating shampoo. The one I use is $5 and doesn't go on my hair because it reeks of the same scent as Dad's aftershave... the scent disappears during a soak&wash cycle but on my hair it smells like I spilled Dad's cologne on me. :P )
Also useful would be Sewing Needles & Safety Pins (for quick fixes)
Thin Swimmers/Braided Elastic. (In case the elastic hem fails)
and Clear/Nude bra straps (as a backup for bikini tops.)

Might I recommend an Underwater photography kit?
SD-card,
Band-aids (goes over microphone to muffle underwater sounds)
Double-sided Suction cups. (To stick camera to the pool wall)
A super absorbent Micro-fibre cloth (polish/clean lens and to dry camera before/during opening to change SD-cards)
And anything else your keen photographers mind can think of!

For the photography one I wouldn't put an SD card--while a great idea, cameras are SO picky about what size/brand/etc. it'd be hard to match it up right.

Fabric Tails

A fragrance free rinser or soap that can be used on skin, hair and tail.
Tips to repair fabric tail, like how to repair/repaint it when the colors are scratched off in worn places like the heel and monofin edges.
Some kind of leave in conditioner you put after your bath/shower that neutralizes the chlorine already soaked up by your hair and scalp, and is ph balanced.


I can't think of anything else! I was going to add makeup in there but makeup is so hard to choose, especially when we're all different skin tones and types.

yeah Im not offering a photography one. I havent decided on fabric tail kits either because materials vary so much. I'll still be doing makeup but it'll be mermaid minerals because I personally endorse it, it's organic and all natural and cruelty free and I'll be able to order enough in bulk that people can choose colours

Can have sample kits just to give us an idea of what brands that are good to buy for fabric tails. We'll pay a small amount of course, but I think it may be a good idea to have them, especially for beginners so we don't wreck our beautiful tails with cheap stuff from the dish washing and laundry section of the local Kmart. Not that I wash mine with that stuff, I hand wash everything without soap in cold water.
