New tail shop (possibility?)

I have been deciphering the idea of making fabric mermaid tails on etsy...

Do you have pictures of tails you've already made? What kind of monofin? What's your price range? Do you actually mean "Horizon" instead of "Horizan"?

I am currently working on getting enough money to make a finished product. The monofin is just a regular old finis monofin. Still calculating the price range. And no it's suppose to be horizan because i wanted the title to be unique :)

"Horizan" is only going to work if you derive some meaning for it and use it pretty aggressively with marketing and the company 'lore' so to speak. Otherwise it's just "Horizon" spelled wrong.

You definitely need the finished product before you launch a store.

my tails have not been posted yet because I have to get enough money to make a finished product. And I will change the title, sadly now I feel quite stupid :(

Okay so I Have disscussed the title change with etsy, I have changed the banner, and I have suppliers. Now all I need is to make a finished product and I'll be all set.

Honestly I think you are kind of putting the cart before the horse. You've never made a tail before but you already are opening a shop to sell them? Do you have sewing experience? Tailoring experience? Sales experience?

Don't mean to be a downer but trust me; having your own sewing buisiness is a lot more involved than you may think!

I have made a tails before just not one like I am planning to do. I do have sewing experience and have sold items before.

that's great! As a costumer myself, I eagerly await your pics to see what you got goin on! I love how many people are starting to make tails and buy/sell... It's like shopping for clothes, or anything else, and now we're getting choices and selection! I hope someday to add to the list of makers out there and be a mer-entrepreneur as well!
