Melbourne Mer Meet? [VIC, Australia]

So I've been really excited to find more mers around Melbourne and I've been practicing in my fabric tail in a local pool who absolutely loves the idea of mermaids. They're happy to let us swim, so long as we're safe, they've got lots of lovely lifeguards who have some nice questions and friendly smiles. There's a very big lap pool and a fun wave pool and entry isn't pricey at all!
The pool is in Cheltenham and can be accessed by car and bus with ease.
I haven't settled on a day yet because I'd like to find out a] who's interested, b] how many would come and c] I'd like to find a day most people can come C:
Are there any Melbourne mers who are interested in a meet up?

I would love to come but I live outside of Sydney. Then there would be the trouble of looking for a place to stay and things to do in Melbourne...

It'd have to be a mini merfest :0 I've got no experience with organising a full fledged festival. I've organised small community meets for other comms I'm part of though C:
