Amount of Latex!

Hi I have a question about making a latex tail. A friend and I are working together to make two latex tails of our own. We have gotten to the stage where our molds are ready and we need to buy latex, but we are unsure on how much we need. How much should we buy for two tails?

If you're careful, you might get away with five gallons for two tails. You may find later that you might need to order more, but I'd start with five. Keep in mind you need enough for joining pieces together and for painting as well as for casting.
