If I can manage through this one and things turn out right, I am going to see about taking in a few at a time. I have to work out all the kinks in terms of sewing for others and so on. If this pans out, Raina, I will be sure to let you and some others who have been messaging me know for sure. :)

It hasn't. :) I have some pictures I am going to be posting here in just a moment. My sewing machine failed so I had to deal with that crap. Its fixed and the painting process has started.

So, the flash in that last image totally whites out the colors here and makes them look worse and the blending not as well done.

These fins do not look this terrible in person, and they fit with the final design of the tail. It will all come together.

I still have to paint the other side of the fins then the dorsal before I attach them to the main tail... then... the scales. x.x Also, the "puff paint" you see in the last picture is Lumiere 3D paint. I am giving this stuff a shot when it comes to giving the rays in fins more a 3D appearance. It comes in many colors and it looks lovely dry.
