Hi!

Have decided to paint the cover of the Fin Fun Monofin, because it is very visible through light colors.

Wondering if anyone has used these? It says permanent without having to heat treat it. And since I read somewhere here that heat isn't friends with neoprene, I have been looking at other alternatives apart from acrylic and Jacquard paints.

The Jacquard paints I have used have held up fine on neoprene, even with the ironing. All I did was have a piece of scrap cotton fabric between the iron and the neoprene and medium heat making sure not to hold the iron in one spot to long. An iron straight onto unpainted neoprene is a no-no....it melts and damages it then >_<

The Fin Fun monofin cover has no layer of fabric on it like I've seen on people's tails. It is just rubber there and as you've said it, bad idea to iron it. That's why I am looking at alternatives, that don't require ironing.

Ohh, I didn't know it didn't have a fabric covering, apologies. Good luck
