The black neoprene cover smoothly hides your boots from view. We all have had that problem when wearing a fabric tail-the water pressure forces the fabric to suction around the ankles and feet. Not with this design! This design solves that problem, and creates and easy transition from heel to fin. This design creates a more realistic mermaid look! I have used this design for many years, even in my first mermaid tail.

It is the material that makes it so flexible in the water. What is great about these fins is that it retains its shape, and will not snap or fracture like fiberglass. When you order one of my monofins, you are able to choose your specific boot size. =)

Here is another video, showing my other design-the Sirena. It has very long flukes that give a great snap at the end, and is much more "mermaid realistic".

Lovely fins! I don't think I'm strong enough to swim in such a huge fin just yet. Maybe next year, if you are still making and selling them.

ireneho, I don't think you need to be any stronger than you would to swim in any other monofin. The large size of the fin does not make it anymore difficult. But as always, your safety first!!
I will definitely be making and selling them next year. :D There are going to be some new amazing, one of a kind monofin designs coming!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
So next year, you may have many choices of design and shape to choose from.
