Hello this is the first time I started a post.

Anyway have any of you ever heard of Aurore La Sirene?, I stumbled onto her website after watching videos of her tails on youtube.

Here is her website http://www.creationetventequeue.sitew.fr/#Accueil.A

And her facebook https://www.facebook.com/AuroreLaSireneBleu

She has many different types of tails and rather affordable, I'm wondering if anyone has ever heard of her or ever bought a tail from her.

I like the style of her tails, it's a style I'm looking for a would be able to afford in the future as the other tails are way out of my price range.

So I would enjoy any info you mers have.

Thanks.

I have never seen anything from her but I can say that I have also never seen her tails anywhere else so I'm not suspicious. I also dont read french. Perhaps one of our lovely french speaking merfriends could get some more information?

Thank you for responding I was able to translate the page to read everything.

I'm a bit rusty on my French, blast! at a time I could use it!

Well I do hope she's a reliable mer to buy from as I like those tails.

I know that girl, I've already spoken to her on facebook and I can tell you that she's the real deal. No scam at all. Many french girls ordered from her.

The only problem is that she sucks in English. She literally use google translate for conversations, I think.

That's great to hear! Glad she's not ripping anyone off. We need some more non-u.s. tailmakers for sure :)

Are there monofins inside her tails?

I know her, her tails are great! I think she's too underrated as tailmaker...

A little help. The only thing I could read and understand in the video, was when the sentence with the word "latex" in it! So I'm assuming she makes latex tails. What the other ones that she shows?

Maybe its silicone. I will buy from her. But her price for the silicone tail is too low i think.

Oooh yes I've stumbled upon her website many a time before! She often posts in the 'Mermaids are the Best!' Facebook group about her work and I must say her tails are quite the beautiful ones!

From what I can gather, she makes fabric, silicone and latex tails? Not 100% sure though :)

That can't be right! :no-no:

Why?

Merman Arion

Why?

Because she doesn't make them full silicone. Period.

Thank you

Wow! thank you I was wondering about that, this is awesome as I really like her designs and also awesome to get one from France!

I think I could get past the language barrier.

I Wonder how much is shipping though.

That's a great thing I was worried about that seeing as I've heard nothing but scammers out there. So it's refreshing to find a mer who offers a good, reliable, and lovely product of many different types.

Her tails range from 120 euros to 400 euros.

They come as fabric tails, half silicone, and latex.

I recently looked at her page, and I don't quite understand how her half-siliconetails are constructed. What does she use as a base? Is there a monofin?
She has to different versions too, one she calls "Modèle moitié silicone" (Model silicone half) and the other is "Moitié silicone T" (Silicone half T), on her site it doesn't really state what the difference is, does anybody know?

By "modèle moitié silicone", she means that the fluke is made of silicone (with a monofin inside) while the rest of the tail is made of fabric.

Her "Nemo" design is really cute!

Oh, that's nice. Do you know if she has different monofins in them? In some pictures it looks like it is a Finis Foil, but in others the whole fluke looks rigid. :/

This looks like a Finis Foil (or the Trainer)

And this looks more like a custommade...

Okay, so I wrote to her on facebook, and it seems that her monofins are custommade, and the difference (that I understood) between Half-silicone and Silicone-T, is that
Half-silicone (as Arion said) has the fluke made of silicone and is painted with pigmented silicone (which makes it more expensive) and the Silicone-T is only clear silicone on top of fabric.

Here's the first Unboxing video with a tail from Aurore!
It's a latex tail (but the fluke is silicone)

I have thought latex cant mix with silicone? The video doesnt works.

Yulia

I'm not sure how she does it, but the fluke is a monofin coated with fabric, and then painted with tinted silicone.

Ahhh! that's a lovely video, I kinda want to cry out of happiness for her :-)
She looks great in her tail!

Regarding silicone/latex mix ... if it's tin cure silicone, it shouldn't matter that there is latex around.
If it's platinum cure, perhaps she cured them separately. (Once they are cured they can be around each other)

Yulia

What I know, is that she makes the scalesheets first, so they are cured when the fluke is being made.
The fluke isn't poured as in most silicone tails, they are painted on, layer by layer I think.

That fluke is beautifully floppy! I'm interested to see how well it holds up. It seems like great value for money!
