Thanks for posting! I agree more than any other with #5. SO MANY PEOPLE ruin images by overdoing the retouching! Blurring skin does not equal good looking skin. Same with over-cloning, ect. It's straight up bad editing, and it drives me NUTS. Yes, remove blemishes, but preserve texture.

In terms of underwater in pools, color contamination is the worst. Blue and green skin everywhere :P Not much to be done about it when you're working in pools though, unless you want to pay out for an expensive lighting rig. Just have to deal with it in post production.
