Hey guys! So mermaid lexi and I are in the process of making our silicone mermaid tails. We decided that if they turned out good, we might start making them and selling them. While we were talking to our parents, one of them brought up that if somebody drowned in one of our tails we could be sued. Would Lexi and I have to get a lawyer to look over it, or could we make our own and make customers sign them? Also does anybody have any tail making contracts we could look at and use as a guide? Thanks :)

Just be sure to make several tails and do quality testing on them (at least several months worth) before you start offering them up for sale. As for the legal issue, just sure to have a "hold harmless" clause either on your purchase agreement or website (or both). Even MerNetwork has one. I believe Mertailor has a terms of use or purchase agreement on his website, you could check that out.
