Is 5 lbs of clay enough to mold both the fluke and a scale sheet? Do you do one, then cast, then reuse? Trying to decide if I need 5 or 10lbs

I used about 10 for my fluke. But mine is rather big so I think it just depends on how big or thick you want it. Mine is 3 x 2 1/2 ft. For scales I believe I used only 5 pounds. I don't know anything about reusing. I just got all my clay at once because I wasnt sure how much I needed, apparently 20 is too much lol. Hope this helped and good luck.

I used about 10-15 just for the fluke, but mine was big as well. If its on the smaller side I would say 5-10lbs would be fine.

After you did the cast of it for the fluke, did you resuse that clay to do the scales? or did you just have other clay for that?

No, I threw the clay away and used new fresh clay

how much did you need for all the scales sheet, is 5 enough or would I need about 10 for that too? Thanks for all your help. Just want to make sure I have enough from the start
