Hiya! I'm Loki (yes that's my real name) I'm thirteen, soon to be fourteen, and genderqueer. I got into the mermaid community when I found some of Mermaid Melissa's videos on youtube, and I was just mesmerized. I don't have a tail yet, but I'm hoping to get a monofin, sewing machine, and fabric for my birthday next month (the design will be much like my current profile picture). I have an extremely severe case of Fibromyaglia Syndrome as well as a gene mutation that makes it difficult for my body to methylate, so my legs don't work all that well. But, when I was saw Raina's video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DF7PyiiMTk) about how she had chronic leg pain, I knew I really desperately wanted a tail.

So yeah, Merperson Loki out~ :p

Jealous of your name by the way, I wish mines was different from the norm instead of 9% of the British population. Hopefully you get what you want for your birthday :)

Loki you should go up to a group of people in Loki(Thors brother) garb and start ranting "I am Loki, of Asguard and I am burdened with glorious purpose......" until they walk away. if they stay, pause a moment and yell "KNEEL!" LOL
I would so do this if i wasnt a girl haha

Lol, yeah, I really should get a Loki cosplay so that way when I go to cons and they ask my name I'll tell them it's Loki, and they'll be like 'No, what's your real name?' And then I can be like, 'Loki. It's actually Loki.' :P

I was just diagnosed with fibro though I am certain I have had it for a decade. combined with dyspraxia I was also disabled for a point in time! I couldnt walk. It's actually what lead to me becoming a mermaid eventually ;) I know it sucks but the illness can have ups and downs and you may have some better days ahead of you yet :) welcome to the community!
