Is My Mold Ruined? Please Help!!!

oh gosh, I'm freaking out! I used cornstarch remove the Vaseline from my fiberglass mold and now there is like a thick white film that I can only scrape off with my nail! I scrubbed this thing twice with hot water and dawn dish soap but it won't come off!
is my mold ruined? will I still be able to use it with my latex?

Hmmm, I don't really know since I haven't worked with latex or casting. But I have heard of people doing I think it's called junk molding or junk casting where they put something into the mold to pull out all of the gunk that's in it.

Maybe you can remove it with a solvent like ethanol or acetone. But test it first at an invisible area. Acetone and ethanol can react with the fiberglass. Be carefull.
