Hello everyone!
I've been on the edge of mermaiding for years, having been too nervous to make my own tail and preferring to just swim with home made monofins. Recently though my interest in actually making a tail has increased, and I plan on designing and making a fabric tail within the next few months!
I'm an unpublished writer who enters the water with a monofin any chance I get. Though I'm not in a body of water regularly, I do take the effort to get in the water at least once a month.
My mermaiding name is pronounced as seer-sha, and it's Gaelic for "freedom," which is what I find when I'm in the water. :)
I hope to stay within the community for a long time, and hopefully find a pod that I can meet up with one day!
