Mermaid Amaya

Hi!
I have a few options and I'm having trouble choosing.

Amaya - Night Rain
Kameko - Tortoise Child
Kusumii - Mist, the Mist, Misty
Kawa - River
Masago - Sand
Nami - Wave
Oki - Ocean centred
Ran - Water lily
Taki - Plunging Waterfall
Nanami - Seven Seas

They're all Japanese, because I'm learning Japanese and can speak it at a decent level. It's also a really nice sounding language.

Amaya, Nanami, Kusumii, and Nami are my favourites.

Help is appreciated!!! :D

*EDIT* - Nami may be easier for English speakers

I personally like Amaya, and Oki sounds really cute.

I like Nanami. Oki just makes me think of Okami. Amaya is really pretty.

I like Nanami best. It rolls off the tongue and has a great meaning for a mermaid. You might, of course, run the risk of people calling you "Tsunami." But then, people will always find a way to mispronounce a character name. Most people see my name, Galene, and think "GAY-leen." It's really "Guh-LEE-nee," and in promo I spell it with symbols indicating the long "e": Galēnē. And my web page spells it out phonetically.

Really, I think you should pick whatever name feels right to you, regardless of what other people might make of it.

My second choice among your name list is Amaya. That's also very pretty.
