First fabric tail :)

Hey guys :)

In a few days I'll actually be able to buy some fabric for my first tail.

But I was wondering what type of fabric would look better under water, plain and patterned. In my local fabric store I found a green holographic shiny fabric that was on sale and I think would look nice for Ariel but I also saw a nice pale pink (that was on sale) which I liked. So im asking you guys which one would look better.

Hello SweetTea!! Congratulations on your first tail! I understand what you are going though because im doing the same thing and also coming across this crossroad(only mine is like sequin or no sequin type question).

My advice to you is draw out a design for both colours and compare them side by side, then determine which one you like more and buy the fabric for that.

Holographic material has a tendency to wear out faster if that helps
