Sean and I just sat down and did the math based on the gigs we did this year.... I today, just spent my 83rd hour in my tail. Most of those in chlorine. lol. and that's JUST THIS YEAR. So crazy!!!

not that crazy, it adds up fast.

I'm closing in on 100 hours for this year, as I swim at least twice a week and spend at least 2 hours swimming.
granted, I'm not always donning a tail (it's often too full for that here), but once I start swimming every day when lakes are finally warm enough, the hours will rise like mad ;)

Most I've done in one stretch without a break was 5 hours which is saying a lot for a gal with a bad bladder lol

I swim more than that too for fitness. This is just tail swimming.

The longest gig I did was a two day event, it was 8 hours straight each day. But I wasn't swimming, I was sitting on a rock at the zoo, posing for pictures with little kids. The rock was super comfy, but my feet fell asleep after hour 4, so I took my feet out of the monofin and just let it hang by its own weight. Much better after that. The longest swimming gig I've done was 3 hours with a snack break for walking tacos halfway through.

Yes I've done ones sitting in my tail, longest was 12 hours for a big event with one little break in between. The world ocean's day I usually do is 8. But only did 5 hours straight swimming for a wedding.
