Mermaid Waverly

Hello everyone, sorry its taken a couple of days to introduce myself, I've just been poking around the site to learn my way around :) I am Lady pyrate Finley, currently residing in Arizona. I am both a model and A.K.C. certified dog groomer (so any animal questions, please feel free to hit me up :)) But I am trying to follow my biggest passion...more like obsession, and that would be mermaids. I have wanted to be a Marine biologist since I was 2 years old ( i didn't know that was what it was called at 2, so i wanted "to be a fish girl" is more accurate lol) and lived my whole childhood towards that dream. But life takes its unpredictable turns and affording college to actually be a marine biologist wasn't in my cards :( so when I learned about mermaiding and I instantly realized my calling.I can still educate about ocean conservation and bring out my inner mermaid that I've always known was there. I have always been a extremely strong swimmer and actually taught myself how to full on swim without floaties around age 3. The best part is, I taught myself to dolphin kick because I was convinced that I was/am a mermaid, and to this day its the only way I know how to swim. I unfortunately do not have my tail yet, I am currently trying everything i can to put money aside for it. Every time i start my tail fund something happens and i have to tap into it. My latest push was the loss of my grandfather. He was always my biggest supporter in every idea i had for myself and when I would go to the hospital to visit him, I showed him pictures of professional mermaids and told him that i found what I am supposed to do and he told me "That sounds wonderful, I hope to see you succeed" Even though I lost my rock, I know he is still with my cheering on my advances in this life.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this community and I hope to learn from all of you wonderful Mers :)
lots of love, Lady pyrate Finley
