Hello all! My name's Casey, but my Mermaid name is Mira (I chose it as a play on my middle name.) I don't yet have a tail, but currently looking into either purchasing or making one. Until then I'll simply focus on learning what I can.

I'm currently in southern West Virginia, where I've lived my whole life. I'm looking forward to getting into everything, and also to meeting people and talking with others.

At the moment I work in retail, but am working towards a better job. Drawing and reading are some of my favorite ways to spend my time, but when I'm able to, I love swimming, and doing so with my family is a ton of fun. I also have a very definite interest in growing plants (starting my own garden~!) and especially vegetables.

Honestly, I've thought a lot about what it would be like to be a mermaid in the past, and then when I discovered photos on DeviantART, I started researching. Ever since then, I've been very excited and looking forward to getting my first tail!

Thank you. ^^ I've looked at theirs and I'm honestly considering ordering one from them. Once I get a tail I'll be sure to post a photo. :)

*flails* Awesome! I'm glad to know there are others in WV, even if it's not near me (I HAVE been up that way before, though, when I was younger.) I'm happy to have found the network, definitely. Reading all the information here has been so helpful, and everyone's so very nice, too!

Welcome to MerNetwork! I was born and raised in WV myself (Teays Valley, 30mins from Charleston). Good to see more mers there, even though I no longer live there :)

I'm a bit of a shy little thing, so it's a tad awkward being the only one (that I know of) in this particular area (though my sister and bff have shown a tiny bit of interest) but it's nice to have found this community. It's really nice and I'm hoping to make some friends. ^^
