Silicone foam

Hello mers,

i have a little question about silicone. Is it possible to make a silicone foam and have you an idea how i can made this?

Ihe reason why i ask, i want to use the Lunocet for my tail and i need a spacer for the area between the fluke and the footpockets.

There are pre-made silicone foam mats, even with adhesive coating. I think they are used in the seats of aircrafts, for example. Not absolutely sure, but I think RS Components has some in stock. Maybe it's at least a start for some research.
