A glimpse into my land life

Of course we all have lives on land and I thought I would share mine with y'all. My name is Chrissy and I am an eventer. That means I compete in 3 different phases with my horse and the scores gets combined for my class. My amazing partners name is Cady O'Daly Endymion (Minion) he is a 2006 16 hand palomino gelding. He was bred in Virginia and I found him after long months of searching for my new partner. I saw his video and knew there was very special about him. I bought him shortly after trying him and we have been showing ever since oct 2012. Being at the barn with Minion is the only other place I feel the happiest next to being in the water!!! We compete in at least a show a month and we usually do very well. I am very competitive and so is Minion, when he gets in that show ring he knows he is there for a job and he brings his best self forward!!! He is a joy to be around, a total love bug, I am so proud of him even when we don't do well. I always know it is a learning experience for both of us. If we have trouble at a show I always find the positive to take home with us and then we work on what went wrong!!! He is my best friend, my rock, he always listens and never judges.......nice to have!!!!
We have such a far way to go and we have only just begun, he is the most wonderful friend I could every have!!! Here are some pictures, enjoy!!!!

Both horses are so beautiful!!! :D There's a Friesian at the barn I ride at, I mostly ride a 13 year old Gelding, never really asked his breed, named Snickers. It's nice to see more horse loving mers

Still have the outfit (Hubby and I do SCA/medieval reenactment still a lot) & Max is happily retired in New Mexico. ;)

Omg horse riding mers! Chrissy you ride horses! That's amazing. I will be joining a riding club when I move. There's no stables around where I'm at currently. I'm going to horse back ride on my trip I'm going on in 2 days. Pix hopefully on instagram. I wish I could have a horse of my own but way too much money but in my new town there's like 4 or 5 riding stables and clubs so aside from mermaiding that'll be my second hobby

You guys are making me miss my horse, I used to have a little Appaloosa Mare. I don't even have any pictures of her anymore, but her name was Shawna. Boy, was she a handful! I miss her though.
